Bird Dog Bait Co was started at my kitchen table in the
spring of 2021 with a dream to build a small business that I
will be able to grow and hopefully one day be known for
products that have high quality craftsmanship and
durability. I built my company with the idea of making
baits like they used to, and it seems to be what catches the
eye of our customers. Our baits are solid wood and are tail
weighted to perform in difficult conditions such as wind
and rough waters. They are protected by a 4,000 pound
epoxy giving them the ability to hold up cast after cast and
fish after fish. We make three main styles of top water
baits. The first bait is the Big Walker which is a 5.5 in
walking bait. Great for long casts weighing in at 1.5 oz. The
second is our Jr Walker it?ÇÖs 4 inches long and weighs .8 oz. which
is the size carried at Frank & Fran's.
This bait has great action and casts amazing for its size.
Last is our poppers which are popular with our bass
fisherman due to the weighted tail it can walk and pop. At
Bird Dog Bait Co, we aim to make a good looking and
well-crafted bait that turns fishing into catching.
