Built around a CNC-machined aircraft-grade aluminum X-Frame tournament cage, the Nitron F-16 delivers rock-solid rigidity with minimal weight. This ultra-stable frame reduces distortion during the cast and allows for tighter spool tolerances — giving you the freedom to cast low-diameter lines (down to 0.32 mm) with incredible accuracy and distance.
The newly designed QUADRO-MAG+ braking system takes casting control to the next level. With 13 micro-adjustable settings, it adapts effortlessly to your casting style and surf conditions. Wind the mags on for big baits and control, or back them off to unleash insane free-running spool speed for tournament-level distance.
Engineered for both smoothness and strength, the Nitron F-16 is loaded with five precision bearings — including ABEC-5 spool bearings for maximum spool speed, a pinion gear bearing for flawless alignment under load, and an instant anti-reverse (IAR) bearing for solid hooksets. The EVA power handle, mounted on a ball-bearing spindle, delivers effortless cranking with the superfast 6.2:1 retrieve ratio.
