1. For best sand placement, place the bottom of the slot stick in the sand
and rock front to back while applying some pressure. The shovel-shape
design will dig down quickly without much effort.
2. From the bottom opening to the top opening is 18” long. From the top
opening (18th inch) to the tip of the Slot Stick (where the rubber stop is
place) is 18” to 27” which is the Slot length for Red Fish in NC. Fishermen
in North Carolina are limited to a single red drum per day in a slot that
begins at 18 and ends at 27 inches. Please check your local wildlife
resources for the slot and limit in your State, and use the slot stick as a
helpful tool to quickly measure your catch.
3. On the back side of the Slot Stick is a laser cut bottle opener. With the
Slot Stick firmly set in the ground, place the back lip of the bottle cap on
the in bottle opener and pull down on the bottle. The bottle cap will pop
off and slide down the length of the Slot Stick.
4. Comes with a Boonedox No Stink bait towel. Towel pin can be used to adjust rod height inside spike.
**MAKE SURE TO CLEAN UP ANY BOTTLE CAPS FROM THE SAND OR
THE GROUND AFTER USE!**
